Loyalty Program

A loyalty program was implemented per the client's requirements. Bonus points for each product are calculated based on product category and price. At checkout, points across all items are totaled and credited to the customer as cashback. Customers can also apply accumulated points to cover part or all of their order total.

Express Checkout and Installment Purchase

One-click purchase functionality was implemented. The express checkout process works by pulling inventory and pricing data from distributed offices and databases across multiple cities and countries, aggregating it into a unified catalog-compatible database, and syncing it to the product catalog.

Once an order is placed, it is routed to the sales team and a manager contacts the customer using the provided details.

Installment purchase service integration was also completed.

Customer Account Portal

A customer account portal was built. It allows users to track order statuses, view earned bonus points and total cashback balance, and update personal profile details.

Articles and Promotions Sections

An Articles blog was built with date-based sorting and hashtag filtering. A Promotions blog was built on the same model, giving customers a single place to browse all active deals, bonus offers, and company news.

Responsive Layout

The new responsive design was implemented and integrated. All common screen resolutions are supported. The responsive version delivers full feature parity with the desktop site.

As a result, the client received:
An optimized store with a new structure and improved navigation
Analytics and marketing promotion tools
Modern payment systems and expanded online checkout options
A customer loyalty program, promotions and special offers content, and an articles blog
A fully rebuilt front-end and back-end, scalable for ongoing support and future development

Results

To improve overall site loading performance, we conducted a full speed audit and optimization of the e-commerce store.
Additional work included integrating an online payment acquiring service, implementing analytics and Google Enhanced Ecommerce tracking, and activating the Google Customer Reviews service. The store was integrated with ad networks.
Using 1C-Bitrix CMS capabilities, management can now monitor sales team activity by generating order reports for any selected time period.
